"Haven't had the boat in the water for 2 years so we have forgot a few things. When starting the motor, is it suppose to beep for a few seconds and then stop beeping? With the muffler thing on the water intake, motor running, water does come out the pee hole. Should water be coming out anywhere else? This motor has been notorius for smoking at an idle. Is there any way to prevent this?"
