"A question. You Clinton Boat Motor techs out there.
Is the part number 217-1-5 the same as 217-1-500 ?
I purchased a prop, I needed 217-1-500 and they sent me 217-1-5. So did they send me the wrong prop? There is no part number on the prop, just on the box it came in.

Mike I would suspect that it is simply made from a different material than the original part number. 217-1-4 was the option "bronze" prop back when the K700's were still on the market.

This may be aluminum while the others were plastic or composite or whatever...

Thanks Scott and Graham. I will give it a try and try to put it on when I get time. I was concerned about prop diameter and pitch not being correct...The prop on it now is a 3 blade and this new one is a 2 blade. I think they came out with a 2 blade prop to begin with. I hope to try it out on Saturday. Thanks much.
