"lowering works fine, raising works sometimes but not often. i push on the trottle switch many times at suddenly it works. is there a manual releif to raise it by hand. if it works one way that means the motor is good, right?"

"u prob have a bad 'UP' solenoid,in a lil blk plastic box..ck by putting a test lite,on the small blue wire from sw,hit the sw,if it lites up,ck the big nut,going to outboard,if its hot too,bad mtr...if not,bad solenoid,no lite when u hit sw in up position,bad sw.
--Manual rel,....on starboard,right,sd of tnt."
