"I realize this has nothing to do with Crusader engines, but I think it is something some of you might be interested in.
My dock neighbor had a problem with his generator (Onan) on a 45' 1975 Pacemaker. It would start and immediately shut down. He replaced the fuel filter, new plug, new capacitor, everything etc. Nothing worked.
Finally, an old salt came along and asked how much fuel do you have in your tanks, he had slightly less than a 1/4 tank. Long story short, old Pacemakers had a float valve that prevented fuel from being siphoned from the main tanks when it was less than a 1/4 full.
