"I can't seem to get the powerhead off my '89 35hp Force. The manual says there are six bolts on the flange, but I only find five. I removed them and the shock mount nuts, hold-down screws and bolts from the upper shock mount cover. Everything the manual says. The lower unit is already off. I tried prying around thinking maybe the seal was just stuck, but it feels more "connected" than just a seal. I even turned it upside and tried to pull the midsection off but it won't budge. WTF?"
