"Well we put about 3 running hours on it yesterday. The main issues that I had was the alternator falling off. This was due to me forgetting to tighten it when reassembling. Other than that the only issue that I have run into it at an extended period of idle in neutral, it will jump to 2000 rpm's. Sometimes it will go back down other times I had to shut the engine off and restart to go to forward. I was scared of shifting at 2k. I am thinking that maybe the carb linkage is getting hung somewhere.
I also had issues with it dieseling a few times. Any ideas of this?"
