"I,m running at 5,000 rpm with a 20 pitch stainless Suzuki prop and getting about 53mph.I have a 2004 Cresliner 1850 Fishhawk."

"As per page 8 of 2003 owners manual, 5000-5600 rpm. Suzuki's service manual says the same thing. I have the same motor but got the Lund package from CP. It's interesting to see the Crestliner is a little faster. I'm spinning a 21p Tempest at 5300, 51 on the gps."

"I did some test runs today with my gps and got 49 with my 20p stailess at 5000.Also tried two Michigin Wheel aluminum, 19p got 43 at 4700,17 got 40 at 4500. Called CP and they said the rpm may have went down because they were redone props. I did not think it would be possible to drop rpm's with a lower pitch prop. Both props look straight and clean."

"Redone props shouldn't kn

"Redone props shouldn't knock down rpm and speed that much. Sounds like a poor excuse from CP. I know that the prop that came with my boat was the old style hubbed Hustler at 21p. It had the bigger hub that seemed to constrict the exhaust. I bought another prop housing that was a 19p and the rpms never raised but the speed dropped. Go figure. I ended up raising the motor one hole to the second highest mounting hole and picked up a Michigan Wheel Ballistic prop. Really woke up the boat. Gained about 5 mph and 200-300 rpm. Without the trolling motor and batteries, it hit 54 on the gps last fall under ideal conditions. I'm trying the Tempest to see if it's any better under normal loads."
