I have a 1996 DT40

"Hello,
I have a 1996 DT40 2 stroke and I really never fully trust the oil injection systems in todays motors. Anyway, I have two boats, my other motor is a Tohatsu and I have to mix my oil and gas. I am quite often finding myself needing to use the tanks from one boat to the other. My question is, can I take the oil injection system off my 1996 Suzuki DT40 and just mix all my fuel and oil from now on? Will I have problems with anything by removing the Suzuki oil injection system? Thanks!

"You can do it, just make sure

"You can do it, just make sure you blank off the old oil feed pipes so air doesn't get in. The pumps are pretty reliable though."
