"how do you adjust the Edelbrock carbs for being too rich? i just went to fill up with the wonderful Marina 5.50 a gallon gas and now my starboard engine is running like crap w/ black smoke. i think it's just needing adjustment of carbs, but, i'm not familiar with doing that on the edelbrocks."

Be sure that electric choke is working properly. It should open WIDE after the motor warms up.
