"i have a 200 hp hpdi thats been in the shop for 2 1/2 weeks now with still no results. the motor will start ok and idle but the primer bulb starts to go soft and eventually die. when i try and take off on plan the motor boggs down and will not go over 10 mph. There was water in the fuel. i replaced both fuel pumps cleaned the vst tank and filter, cleaned o2 sensor, installed new water seperator, new fuel lines and primer bulb,new filter in clear filter by vst and tried it on an external fuel tank and still have the same problem. compression is good and fuel pressures are good acording the the marina. also the said that all injectors are working properly. high pressure fuel pump was also replaced last year. could the fuel pressure regulator on the vst tank cause this problem if it were bad or the screen was plugged up. thanks"
