Over heating under load

I am having trouble with overh

I am having trouble with overheating when underway. Seams to be fine until powered up to about 2 grand. Engine runs great then all of a sudden coolant comes out of overflow tube and overheats

"Sounds like you need new impellers in your water pumps. While running at low idle the engine is not developing as much heat so there is a lower demand for the water, as you increase rpms you increase the heat, the water demand increases, if you haven't changed your impellers in a while (last two years) they may be getting stiff.

If you pull the impeller out and the rubber blades still show a curve then it is time for new ones."

I assume you have cleaned out the heat exchangers already?

Had a similar issue last year

Had a similar issue last year turned out that the suction hose on the engine waterpump was sucking shut because of it's age. Replaced the hose with one that had a wire coil in it and problem solved. Someone told me to check it when the problem first started but I didn't believe it could be true but it was.
