Missing under load

.94 model 40hp. If my motor on

.94 model 40hp. If my motor only misses under load does it mean CDI unit needs replacing or can it be something else (coils etc)? If it is CDI unit has anyone any repair tips ? I can repair circuit boards but have never attempted sealed CDI unit.
 
my spark plug wires are arcing

my spark plug wires are arcing very badly and this causes engine to run erraticly. My Question is this. Can I replace the plug wires or are they attached to the coils?
 
its not carby - been 100% rebu

its not carby - been 100% rebuilt. Motor actually intermittantly missfires in plugs when under load but revs out perfectly when out of water and there is no strain.

I have a perfect spark at low/

I have a perfect spark at low/medium revs but the spark keeps cutting out when the motor is trying to power up when it is under load.
 
motor runs perfectly connected

motor runs perfectly connected to garden hose or in water tub. Motor starts to missfire ONLY when running in ocean when it is trying to get boat onto plane and is what I call "under load".
It cannot get past half revs when under load without badly missfiring. The same exercise on land in a water tub produces NO PROBLEMS.
 
I use a portable plastic fuel

I use a portable plastic fuel tank which always has "new" petrol in it.
