Md7a engine

i have just fitted this engine

i have just fitted this engine to my boat and i have come unstuck i have 2 pipes coming out of the fuel tank and i want to know where they must go liam that is all that is holding me back

BUT

Look at the fuel system diagram HERE and you will see that the spillback pipe #36 returns to the filter so you only have one connection to make to the tank namely the fuel feed via the water separator to the lift pump. With this engine the old spillback line to the tank is redundant. Blank off the connection on the tank.

MD6 & 7 do indeed have a r

MD6 & 7 do indeed have a return to the tank. It exits at top of injection pump.

Missed that! Pipe #47 The drawings don't show it going back to the tank!

Also shown as connection 24 in the photograph an page 8 of the workshop manual!
