"I am working on a old 115 HP inline 6 Mariner. The motor has been sitting for about 15 years. I know that the carbs will have to be rebuilt, along with a new impeller, new spark plugs, and regluing the magnets to the flywheel.
The motor is hard to turn by hand, and I am not going to try to turn it over with the starter.
Any hints or tips on bringing this motor back to life? I was thinking about taking it off the back of the boat, and mounting it on a frame, as the boat needs work too..."
