Boat is already in the water and having trailer problems.

Not sure if I can do this myself or not. Is it possible to pull the carbs off, take them to someone to rebuild and re-install myself? What adjustments are needed after the re-install?

Yes, you can do that. Just use care not to drop any bolts etc overboard. If the carbs have any adjustable needle valve jets, do this:

Before removing the carbs, gently turn the jets in to their seated position, counting the turns exactly and making a note of it... both carbs, top and bottom. Then after the rebuild, reset the needle valves according to your notes. That may be accurate or a general starting point resulting a slight adjustment."
