"Upon making a sharp turn, the right engine seemed to jump into neutral. Now even though the cables seem to be moving the linkage to the throttle and the shift levers, it still seems to be in neutral. Can anyone help me with this?

"You must have a cable that catching somewhere. Do a non-running check, cranking the motors over full lock and looking for a cable getting hung up on something.

Either that, or you might simply be cavitating one of the engines.
