"I am trying to find a rebuild kit for my 1995 Mercury Tracker 115. Apparently, the kit is no longer being made and you probably need a special tool to reassemble the trim piston. I can't believe they dont make the kit, I mean $30 for a few o-rings, thats a cash cow!
Does anybody have any insight what I am in for and what the parts and labor should cost to do this? If the special tool is more than the mechanic, then it is worth sending it to them.

PS. I am doing this because I have a small leak around the ram and the trim does not raise while under way. Seems to be the logical repair."
