I'm looking for the year a

I'm looking for the year and manufacturer of my Sea King 15 HP Outboard from Wards. I also need a parts/repair manual for it. I think it is a 1985.

Serial: 58X 2655

We have an index for most of those models, but for some reason that model number doesn't show up.

Model 52118 and 52119B are 1981, so my "wild guess" would be 1982 or 1983.

Someone on a previous post thought his was a 1984.

There is a parts manual for that model, but we don't have it.

The serivce manual is the same as the Chrysler outboard service manual for that year (although we are not sure of the year) and HP

"The motor cover says, "US Marine" on it if that helps. It sounds like Chrysler sold out to Force, and that Force made US Marine Outboards. Would this info help me out at all?"
