"We just purchased a beautiful 1963 46' Chris Craft Connie powered with twin Chrysler 440/330s. My problem is there are no power output/fuelflow tables for various RPM settings.

Does anyone have knowledge where I can get that data? Otherwise we are committed to doing extensive runs on Lake Washington to develop our own tables.

Also, the boat is equipped with 23/20 props. The pitch seems lacking and at full power, 4100rpm, we were only able to obtain 18kts with a freshly painted bottom. Any input is helpful.

"Well, what did you expect! That's a lot of(really nice!) boat there, pardner. Frankly, that's diesel territory--especially withthe gas prices we're goning to get hosed by this summer. (I can't wait!)

I installed a FloScan fuel meter on one of my twin motors. Works very well, and it gives you an indication of a problem developing. Suggest you give it a look.

Jeff"
