"Well, i am new at this whole

"Well, i am new at this whole working on boats thing...but anyway, i have to find top dead center on a mercruiser 140, so that I can tighten down the rocker arms and get this boat back up and running again...if there are any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated..."
 
"take out number one plug, ins

"take out number one plug, insert finger in plug hole, have assistant click the key until the compression begins to blow your finger out of the hole, check the mark and as it comes around and lines up, that will be tdc on #1. After adjusting #1, rotate the engine with a rachet on the crank and line up the rotor with each spark plug wire position on the cap and adjust each cylinder, repeat until done."
