"All Volvo Outdrives can be change to run either a left or right hand prop. All you have to do is pull the back cover and move the shift linkage to the other side. You will also have to adjust the trim tab behind the prop to lean the other way (you will notice how it is offset to counter-act the push of the prop). Takes about 5 minutes""

"Why go through that just to buy an available prop? Look on ebay or call the local marinas and ask if they have anything that would work. Yes, some V-P drives can be converted, but that's just their better way of making it convertible."
