"I have a 50 HP Honda 4 stroke from - I believe it’s a 1999 or 2000. The power tilt was working fine and then one day I hit the button, located on the side of the engine, and it clicked, almost like a solenoid clicking, but it did not engage. I checked the fuses and wires the best I could, but everything seems fine.
Does this have a solenoid for the power tilt? I notice a little black plastic looking box inside the engine compartment, and this is where the clicking seems to be coming from. I pushed the button the other day, and it started the power tilt again, but then it stopped. Any ideas?"
