"i recently removed my lower unit to change impellers,no problem,put new o-ring on drive shaft and greased it,on re-assem i lined up the water tube,the shift linkage,and made sure the shift lever and lower unit gear were in same position,the splines were lined up ,however it will not go the last 1/4 inch to allow me to bolt it back up,any suggestions or help?"
