"Have a 1997 Honda 4 stroke 90 hp, and a mechanic mentioned that I might want to add a skeg plate on the lower unit since it appears that the original has worn away over the years. Question is is it better to buy the one that you bolt on or the one that you apply with the apoxy. Also, will this help in my steering? I have cble steering and it is very hard to turn. Checked all lubrication points and lubed same just wondering what I can do to help this issue also. I didn't check but don't know if there is a grease fitting anywhere under the steering housing. thanks"
