I have a 01 Yamaha OX66 225. A

I have a 01 Yamaha OX66 225. At a very slow troll my alarm keeps going off. When I bring back up the rpm's it stops. Its pumping water at all times but doesnt seem like a very strong flow. I just got the boat about a month ago from NC. Im figuring from what I've read up on thats it might be the impeller. Would this be something I could do myself or should I bring it to the dealer? Im not really sure I want to start messing with it. All I have is the operating manual that came w/ the engine. Any advise is appreciated.

Had her out yesterday. Idles at the dock @600 rpm without setting off the alarm. When Im trolling at idle speed 5-600 the alarm goes off after about 5 min.
 
Waterpump impellers are the mo

Waterpump impellers are the most neglected part on motors.Most people replace them when it is already too late and damage has been done.Replace it and retorque cylinder heads.
