Why cant i get wake borders out of the water

i have an 85hp evinrude and th

i have an 85hp evinrude and the prop is not to good just seeing if that might be the problem

If the engine is functioning properly, the prop is the largest single factor in a boat's performance.

I wouldn't be turning more than a 17 pitch prop for pulling skiers etc... It's got to be in decent shape to get a grip on the water."

im just guessing but might this issue be something similar?
