"I have a 1993 four winns 190
"I have a 1993 four winns 190 horizan, and I have a small pin hole leak in my oil pan.
My question is;
Option 1; What is required to remove the oil pan? Can I disconnect the out drive from the motor (inside the boat)and pull the motor so I can get to the oil pan, or will I have to remove the out drive (from the rear of the boat)in order to pull the motor?
Option 2; I can clearly see where the leak is coming from, it is close to the block that goes into the oil pan for the dip stick and the drain plug. Do you think if I cleaned it really well and JB welded it, do you think it will hold? I am not apposed to doing it properly, but just wanted some input.
Please help!
Thanks,
Curtis"
