2000 Mercury 150 optimax Will not run with open throttle

"The engine starts just fine,

"The engine starts just fine, but when I open up the throttle it bogs down like its running out of gas. I,ve had it to the machanic it show no faults codes on the computer. Every once in a while it will run just fine but when I shut it down and restart it will do it again. One suspect part was the needle valve in the fuel pump, it was replaced but the problem still happens. It will run fine at higher rpms in neutral but not in gear in water"

"check for air leaks in pressured fuel line, put a regulator on the line. injector cleaner into tank and the reason it revs in neutral not in gear is that you are dry revving the engine no load on it so the fuel that it does get is enough to rev it, when it is underload that is different."
 
I had same motor same problem.

I had same motor same problem...
turned out it was 1 bad reed valve.!
