Have 671ti s in a 1986 Post with 1800 hours on the engines. If not started for about 8 hours the port engine takes about 3 minutes of intermiten cranking to start. Once it starts it runs fine and can be shut down and restarted with no problems. But leave it overnight and it takes a long time to start.

Maybe Air is being introduced into sytem? Should start then stall first because there is fuel in inj. Make sure rack is moving to full fuel at start up. Shut down solinoid?
