Reduced RPM and mph suddenly 98 Force 120hp OB

"from one trip to the next my WOT went from 5000 rpm & 35mph to 3500/4000rpm & 20mph !!! I fill it after each use, mix fuel / oil exactly 1 pint for every 6 gallons and am at loss as to what it could be. Fuel filter, kinked fuel line, throttle cable???? ANy ideas on how ot proceed w/o bringing in for service?""
 
You could be having a trigger

You could be having a trigger or stator problem affecting your high speed rpm.

If you have a multi meter and a engine manual you can check them yourself.
