"Just put a replacement starter in 1989 DT75 (Cabrea EL75). Starter was slightly longer than original, listed as HI output, but fits. Specs were the same.
Cranks like a bear, but only 3-5 sec at a time, then drops out. Couple of trys, motor starts OK.
Is this a starting circuit mismatch, or no big deal?
