"I would like to put a trim guage on my mercury 50, it is a 2003 model and did not come with one. My questions is I can buy the guage but I dont know what else I need to make it work, and I dont know where to connect it to the engine. Any ideas???"
 
In additon to the gauge you wi

In additon to the gauge you will probably also need a trim sending unit and the appropriate harness.

A stop at your local Merc dealer will help sort out what will work on your model...
