Is it possible to put fuel injection on a 454 cid and if so does anybody have any suggestions

I have a 7.4 TBI on E-Bay right now for less than the price of a FI system. It's a brand new GM factory longblock with new manifolds and ECU. And it's FWC.

If you're looking for a used system, they are plentiful too.

I mean take off the rochesters and convert it to fuel injection

"I have been considering this. Talked to the guys at edelbroch and they have a mpi manifold but it uses oxygen sensors. Now they seem to think you should be able to install the sensors in the exhaust before the discharge water hits it.

To answer your original question, however, no one makes a conversion kit at least yet. Only the TBFI kit and it is crap. Throttle body FI are not worth anything, total crap. MPI is the only way to go."
