Boat mechanic says my airboxes

Boat mechanic says my airboxes are loose -- my firends think that doesn't make any sense --anyone knowledgeable on this? Engines have 1400 hours total
 
Probably means your airbox cov

Probably means your airbox covers or inspection plates.They will be under the exhaust manifold. If they are loose and and leaking you may have low airbox psi.
