Blown 15 amp Fuse

"I have a 1992 Alpha One 4-cyl

"I have a 1992 Alpha One 4-cylinder 3L in a 19ft Bayliner . As I slow the engine and shift into reverse, the engine stalls and blows the 15 amp fuse that is connected to the ignition with a red wire/purple stripe. At times it will blow just when shifting from forward to neutral. Any thoughts?"
 
Sounds like your interrupt swi

Sounds like your interrupt switch or wiring is shorting out. Maybe trace the wiring to and from the interrupt switch to make sure there is no bare spot that is grounding out.
