"I have a new 2007 DF300 engin
"I have a new 2007 DF300 engine and I noticed on the SMIS gauge that I do not have any advanced engine functions showing. I cannot see engine temperature, oil pressure, water pressure or speed. I know that the speed used to work, but I am not sure if the oil/water pressure and temperature ever worked. Is this data that should show or is this an option that I did not add in. I contacted the dealer and thay have no idea what I am talking about. I did have a problem with the engine interface wiring initially where only some of the basic engine data was coming in to the SMIS gauge. I have fixed that and I can see RPM, trim data, engine hours, and forward, neutral, reverse data on the SMIS gauge. I would think that all data would show as this is a brand new outboard purchased in March of 2008."
