"I just installed a hydraulic steering system to replace the cable system in my '98 AD41 Volvo diesel w/ 290 outdrive. I installed a SeaStar HC5331 cylinder to the stock Volvo unit (power assist)-see picture. On top of the Volvo unit, there is a small set screw with hex fitting ("B" in picture). There seems to be about 3/4" play-left to right, in tube ("C" in picture) and "A" also rotates a small bit. Is this normal, or should the tube "C" not be moving or rotating. I removed the hex set fitting "B" when installing and just screwed it back in when reinstalling. Is this set screw supposed to keep the tube "C" from moving?
