"My Starboard engine was runni

"My Starboard engine was running well until I tried to start it one morning. It will crank fine and start for a brief second, but will not run. It bellows white smoke=getting fuel. I changed the shut off solenoid, same thing. The injector pump has been rebuilt, injectors tested, new supply pump. Any suggestions on what to check?"
 
Check supply pressure. Check f

Check supply pressure. Check for closed return. check timing. Loosen raw water pump and try to run.

"Dick, you know your stuff. The raw water pump was binding the injector pump. The governor in the injector pump could not ramp up to keep the engine going. I switched raw water pumps (port to starboard) problem solved. Thanks again."
