Check y connector for flybride panel or key getting water in it allowing + to be crossing onto red/yellow wire.

"I have the same problem. I replaced the innition switch, the starter and the starter relay and still have the same problem. Did you ever solve it? I have all of the Volvo books (catalog, shop manual etc.) and none of them show a clear picture of the wiring to the starter & selenoid."
