7 hp ESKA Motor runs prop doesnbt turn

We have a 7hp. ESKA MOdel 1707

We have a 7hp. ESKA MOdel 1707 secial 370199 the moter runs fine but the prop stoped in the middle of the lake. what would cause this? we checked the shear pin at the prop it is fine.also if any one would have or know where to get a service or repair manual (for idiots) that would help

"I don't know how well you know your motor, but it likely has a neutral clutch lever on the left hand side. Could it be something as simple as it jumped out of gear?"
 
When did you last check the ge

When did you last check the gear oil? if it ran out you may have seized the gearbox and sheared the drive shaft.
if your engine is water cooled(i know some eska models are air cooled)and the cooling is still working then this is not the case.
I hope so for your sake.
