"I was running my '89 35hp Force in a garbage can yesterday and noticed water running out from behind one of the lower unit bolts. I removed the bolt, and there's a hole in the case behind it. Is this normal?

the lower on my 85hp has similar holes, so i think they are drain hole, and normal.... or they`re both defective
