"I see a Black Honda lower unit for a 1998 90 on e-bay. Does anyone know why it would be black? I was told mine (1999) was made by mercury. Can I assume this black one would be a merc. as well?
I dropped mine off in Seattle (600 miles away - 3 mo. ago), and it is still not fixed. I'm losing faith that I will ever see it again."
