"engine starts fine, new spark

"engine starts fine, new sparkplugs and wires, points and condenser, boat stars out fine but when on plane boat starts to back fire from carburetor. engine shuts off but starts right back up."
 
"Has the fuel tank been draine

"Has the fuel tank been drained out completely? Do you have a fuel filter if so is it clogged? Your carb may need some work. Or, you dont even have a fuel problem. If your new condenser isn't grounding properly it could cause the engine to do what you're saying as the spark would come and go."
