Compression Test Plugs in or out

"I have read it can be done bo

"I have read it can be done both ways and I have always done with warm engine, throttle open and all the plugs in except cylinder I am testing.

What type of difference will thus produce over all plugs out?

Can someone please post the proper procedure step by step?

You'll get Better readings with All the plugs Out....Just because the motor will spin faster....
But,....
It's All about Consistency, more than the actual #s....."

The standard way to check compression is to remove all plugs.
