"Does anyone know if you could replace a MD11C with Yanmar RCD 3YM30X1 on a Pearson 323. They both have the Vdrive. I looked at one today that is almost new. Came off a wrecked cat and was salvaged with no apparent damage and did not get in the water. It has everything including all the controls, guages, hoses, etc. I suppose I should probably ask this question in the Sailnet forum."

Also take a big look at differ

Also take a big look at difference in shaft angle to crankshaft center line. The old RV10 Walters vee drive had a real low angle. Lot of new drives are larger forcing front of engine way down to get alignment.
