"I'm new to boating, and have a 1984 200hp Black Max. Is there anywhere or way to check the repair history ...has it been rebuilt, etc?? Or am I on my own and in the hands of fate?"

"Got another question... with ears on, I see little if any water issuing from the pee hole, althought the water pump was replaced last summer. There is a lot of water coming out around the prop area, nothing but a drop and some steam from the pee hole. I hesitated to run it longer than about 5-10 seconds w/o seeing the pee-hole water. What should I expect, and what should I do?"
