"My tilt motor quit, I replaced it, now it won't pump. I changed the fluid and cleaned the resevoir , how do I bleed the system?"

"While someone engages the up

"While someone engages the up switch, lift manually on the lower unit. Be sure the bypass is closed. This will push the air through the system. Once the air is gone the unit should start to operate. Run the system through it's complete travel several times, keeping an eye on the oil level and adding as needed. Once the unit is operating properly, let it sit a while as some of the oil will have foamed from the pump cavitation. This will correct itself although you will want to run it up and down a couple more times and top it off once more. Good luck, Rick"
