"I have a 73' I6 115 that has a bad cylinder(no compression & metal on the plug), does anybody know if a 69' I6 100 powerhead will fit with my midsection, lowerunit, carbs, distributer, etc.?
If so how hard is the swap?

"I suspect they will not swap cleanly. Are they both CDI-based ignition? (same switchbox/coil and distributor) There was a changeover from points to CDI about that time, and a corresponding change in maximum timing."
 
Get the part number for the ba

Get the part number for the base gasket! If it is the same swap it out.
