"I've noticed that the specs for the 5hp & 6hp Tohatsu engines are the same, but the RPMs are slightly different. Does that amount to a real power difference between the motors? Or will the 5hp be just as strong on a small flat bottom boat (14' 300#)?

Can the 5hp be tweaked to run as a 6hp?
