"I can't find that serial number in my reference book... but, it looks like it is pre 1980 by the serial number that you provided. If you believe that it is newer than 1979, there should be a serial number that looks something like "VJ4RCRS"... I hope I at least sent you in the right direction."

these omc engines only go by model numbers not serial numbers like key cougher whats your model # look on tag should be 2 numbers one model one serial
